Well i returned my D500 today and my new one came, opened the box and was faced with this.... my account balance is showing $0.00 for both, is the spare one just incase the new one fails or just for my hardship over the last few days? lol at least its a better problem right? and i can say...

13th March 2017 i unboxed the D500 and tried a few more test shots using different cards, 1st up was the XQD card on its own, same story, it started to jump as my pic was being written, i did notice Flicker appearing on the viewfinder??? then the whirrling sound and no focus, it was the same on...

from what i read on the D500 thread about the lock ups @Blacktop it was the SD cards causing it?, i only used the XQD card, 32gb Lexar, i never thought to remove it and only use the SD card to see if that made any difference.
