A lifer for me. Eastern Screech-Owl this morning.

I use a 1.4x with my 300mm f/4 all the time for larger insects and similar shots. Getting the same close focusing distance with greater magnification is handy for those nervous subjects. I only use the 1.4 rarely with my 500 f/5.6 sine the resulting f/8 makes my D500 strain to get good focus...
