    Robin's Assorted What Not's

I may try using my D850 this afternoon and see what type of results I get. The ISO at 6400 is just my preference and where they seem to come out best for me. Most of my photos don't get cropped to much because I am no more than 10 feet from most of the birds when I take their photo.

    Robin's Assorted What Not's

My shutter speed depends a lot on how much light I have. If I have a lot of light I go to 4000 and above. I don't like my ISO going over the 6400 mark since my photos tend to get to grainy after that. I generally don't like them at feeders either. This is a feeder my son gave me at Christmas...

Doubles - the 4th and 5th are my favorites. They were both shot on the same burst, which shows just how fast these little birds move.

So glad it was not in your yard. The cucumber thing could have been an old wives tale. I have never wanted to get close enough to one to smell it. The ambush bug is pretty prehistoric looking.

Welcome to the forum! We are looking forward to seeing some of your photos. Unfortunately, I have a hard time staying awake long enough to take pictures of the night sky. I am glad others are able to do what I can not.

Wow! She made her own ketchup, that is impressive! She must have had a huge garden. I cut mine in half this year and the ground hogs, raccoons, opossums and squirrel cut it in half again.

What kind of bug is that? It looks a little like a dragon. Very well camouflaged, I am surprised you even saw him much less to get such a great shot of him.

I hope this guy was not in your yard. Did you smell a cucumber like smell? I always heard they smell similar to a cucumber.
