Day 308, 2013 - First Snow We awoke to our first snow. The wife and I quickly ran out to snap a few off before it melted away.

Day 306, 2013 - Milky Way Over The Spiral Jetty A good amount of light pollution, but I could work with it. And the best part is it's only an hour and fifteen minute drive instead of five plus. More to come once I get them edited.

Day 305, 2013 - Night Play Took a little bit of work to figure out when to release the shutter to capture the green, yellow, and red. Then I needed to slow down the ISO and tighten up the aperture to not overexpose. Turned our really well.

This lens is spectacular. Seeing you are in Colorado, don't pass up shooting the Milky Way with it at night. This does not disappoint. It's also a great lens for shooting lightning. You never really know where it will show up so this lens is perfect to capture and crop down. ​

Day 304, 2013 - Halloween Tired tonight so I went for the quick gratification shot. ​

Wow! Day 302 really fell flat on people liking that image. For the record, I thought it was a great image and would make an outstanding book cover for a religious drama book. So maybe today's image will fall more favorable upon those that did't care for my last image. :confused: OK, I'm over...
