    Oh, The Places You'll Go!

Found out today from one of the wrestling parents that one of my images has been stolen and used on some national wrestling organizations Facebook page captioned "Wrestle With Passion." He showed it to me on his phone, I haven't been able to locate it on my own. I'm not upset, but do plan to...

    Oh, The Places You'll Go!

Wow! The worst lighting ever. No outside light and office lighting hung too high and too spaced out to be of use. Ugly does not begin to describe it. The images fall under the category of better to have a grainy image than no image. Here are a quick few. Have to get to bed for an early morning...

    Oh, The Places You'll Go!

@Krs_2007 To steal a line, actually a book title, from Dr. Seuss, "Oh, The Places You'll Go!" From the knowledge shared by Krs_2007 a while ago, and shooting a small tournament, I was hired to shoot two wrestlers competing in the Utah State Wrestling Tournament tomorrow and the next day. Which...

Pretzel and the Gypsy King - A Tale of Adventure (cum a spus de fotografie) for 2015

Looks good @Pretzel Never would have dared taking my D7100 crop sensor that high, but I'm impressed with what the camera did and your clean-up. Nicely done.

Pretzel and the Gypsy King - A Tale of Adventure (cum a spus de fotografie) for 2015

@Pretzel I just had a WOW moment! Your picture of everyone shooting the project, I saw that you were shooting at an ISO of 1600... is that correct? What was your noise clean up process because I am blown away at how clean you got that on a crop sensor. I tip my hat to your sir.

    Moab Man's Magnified Macro

@Pretzel I was pleasantly surprised at how well the Raynox did to allow my 70-300mm to be used as a macro lens. The short of it... it works! So prepare yourself as I unleash the fury of photos. All images, except for the last, are jpeg out of camera - just resizing. Lens was less than a hands...

    Moab Man 2015 Photo Collection

A bit of softball tonight. Did some more playing with my 300mm prime. I find it does best on my D600 and the focus is best on continuous when I'm using 9 points. I find using more focus points tends to increase the number of missed focuses due to the focus having its attention caught by some...

    Scramblers

@Lee532 @Iansky I was figuring it was a sport you did on dirt bikes. But I'm sure we Americans drop plenty of words on the rest of you that don't make a whole lot of sense. In the end it helps me to be bilingual. I can speak English and American. :)

    Upcoming Glacier National Park, U.S.A.

The wife and I are heading to Glacier National Park for this years summer photography trip. She is hugely excited for this trip - this is one she really wanted to do. I know that the park is huge, and we have a week, so I'm looking for some tips on where to go so that we minimize how much time...

Week 14 Depth of Field Shooting with my Raynox depth of field is thin enough to split atoms and anything less than f/50+.
