Flash vs Available Light for Insects

There's a U-tube channel called Naturefold, run by a young guy, who not only explains what he's doing in a very good way, he also shows stunning pictures of what he finds in the most amazing places in the forests.

    Post your golden hour shots

Two days ago I spotted this "stacked" rainbow, where it appears to be 3-4-5 rainbows on top of each other. I have never seen anything like that before. Anyone that can explain what's happening in the sky? And I can guarantee that it's not fake, the only thing I have done is tweaked the colors a...

    Post your golden hour shots

Not much of a landscape, but this was the view the other evening. The original photo was not much to look at, dark trees and a flat sky, but after some work in Lightroom it turned out almost how I saw it with my eyes, only just a little better!

    Cannot disable shutter from focusing

When I had the D7200 I did some notes that I still have (written i Swedish so I have to translate it, maybe it's not entirely correct) I know that there are a couple of settings that has to be done, apart from AF-C. Set focus to AF-C. Pen -> f5 Assign AE-L/AF-L-button to AF-ON Pen -> a1 Select...

lens that work with D90 and D3500/D3200

If you buy a D7X00 camera, be sure to also buy a new SD-card (or two). I guess that the SD card that you have today to your D90 is rather old and slow. Newer cards are faster which has a severe impact on the write speed. The buffer is not that big so it will fill up rather quickly if the SD card...

    Birds on Z6III

It would be nice if it comes with multiple choice, where I can check the type of detections I want, for example People and Birds, excluding cars and airplanes. Now I can only select one of the detection types or all of them.

    Z6III Autofocus Failure

On my 70-200 f/2,8 there's another switch as well, setting focus from 5m to infinity. I couldn't understand why I couldn't focus on short distances.. until the next day. But that evening's photo were not the best..

    Z6iii review

With the Z6iii comes 3D focus with subject recognition. The default mode is Automatic selection, and what it then chooses between are people, animals, cars and airplanes. I have found that it takes a little time before the automatic has determined what the subject is. I mostly photograph people...

Vibration Reduction vs Electronic Vibration Reduction ?

To clarify what I wrote in my first post (I was a little unclear): - Electronic stabilization: No moving parts, but the image is shifted to another pixels when camera is (slightly) shaken. - IBIS: In-body Image stabilization, the sensor is moving to compensate for minor shakings. All full-frame...

Vibration Reduction vs Electronic Vibration Reduction ?

VIbration reduction is a mechanical system where the sensor and/or a glass in the lens is moving to adjust against camera movements. Electronic Vibration Reduction has no moving parts, the image on the sensor shifts to different pixels when the camera makes small movements. As I understand it...
