Selling Gear to KEH

Recently KEH was at my local camera store holding a buying event. Out of curiosity I took some infrequentlky used gear to the event with an open mind to sell or keep. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the KEH representative and thoroughness of the process. I did wind up selling the gear in question receiving a fair value near what I thought I could make on eBay or via Nikonians. All in all a pleasant experience and one I would recommend if the circumstances meet your needs.

I checked out their site. In the used lenses, it appears that 9 out of 10 are DX lenses.

I wonder if that's an indication of how many people are moving to FX.

In any case, in a system of supply and demand, DX lenses should be pretty economical.

My guess is that you only looked at "Nikon Digital" section. . . . check out "Nikon AutoFocus" and you'll see primarily FX lenses.

Wow. I am quite surprised. I can't seem to sell my stuff and KEH, Adorama, & B&H don't seem to pay squat. I will have to look at KEH again.
