Shot this White Egret about an hour ago with a Nikon D7000, Nikon 70-200VR F2.8 with a Nikon TC 20e III Teleconverter. This was taken several hundred feet away and cropped a bunch. Jeff

Another one from today shot handheld with my Nikon D7000, Nikon 70-200VR F2.8 with a Nikon TC 20e III Teleconverter. Jeff

This was taken at 600mm film equivalent. This was only shot to demonstrate how well the lens and TC worked together and not as a picture to keep.

Nice shot Jeff!, I'd like to be there in the fall!
Thanks Cnyram, I won't be there but my wife, our two boys and their families have a cabin rented in Pigeon Forge Tenn. next to Gatliburg, for the week of Thanksgiving and that should be nice. I'm hoping to get some good photo opportunities while we are there. We will be going to Dollywood and Cades Cove while we are up there. Dollywood will have 3 or 4 million Christmas lights up and going that week and I am looking forward to taking a lot of pictures. If any of you that read this have some suggestions of things to see or places to take picture in the area please let me know. Jeff
