Sometimes you have to look a little closer to see what you are looking for. Jeff

I shot this a few months ago with my D90 and Nikon 70-300VR lens from a distance of several hundred feet. This bird was on the other side of a pond that I was at when I photographed it and also was cropped a bunch and still looks fairly sharp. Jeff

I took this one today. I had updated my cameras firmware and reset the custom settings and forgot to change the settings back the way I shoot so this one may look a little different than normal. Jeff

If you have looked at very many of my posts you have probably already picked up on the fact that I like nature shots and alligators. This is a shot that is not cropped and he was growling and blowing bubbles at me letting me know that I might need to back off a bit.. Jeff

As always, excellent shot Grandpaw. I recently saw a documentary where they stated that gators Also display a similar activity as a preliminary part of their mating ritual. The Blowing of bubbles attracts females.

Thats a lot like Rednecks in a swimming pool. We blow a lot of bubbles too!

'Course, we use the OTHER end! :devilish:

This is a little different view of Spaceship Earth in Epcot in Disney World. Jeff
