When we rounded the bend from the parking lot to the entrance to the Marsh Trail, three otters ran across the street. They were quick!

The little ones made to much of a racket the GE's chased them off. Just call me "never ready".

I don't recognize this bird. Is it a juvenile of a bird I would know?

EDIT: I remembered you upload from your gallery. It is a new bird for me or at least one haven't seen posted much. Common Moorhen. Thanks.

It's a juvenile Common Moorhen, oh, excuse me, the name has been changed to Common Gallinule.
