My photography buddy sent me a text about Swans in a canal near my house, so my hubby and I mounted our trusty steeds and headed over there. They weren't close. I managed to get out on the berm and walk towards them. Once they saw me, they got in the water and turned their heads the other way. Haven't seen Swans in the wild this far south before and in a canal. My bicycle camera is the D7100 with an 18-400mm Tamron lens.

Yup! We got nailed three times in one day on our bikes. We did manage to find shelter all three times. We do need the rain though.

After Wako I drove to where I saw the Swans the other day. This time I had the D500 and Tamzooka, but they were pretty far down the canal.
