I do love the birds @Woodyg3, but I love the Bison. Majestic capture.

Thanks, Dan! I love them as well.

I can't make myself call them bison. I mean, I grew up in Boulder and went to the University of Colorado. We were the Buffalos and I ran track with a Buffalo on my chest. My dad was a vet, and he and his partner treated buffaloes, bot bison. It's Buffalo Bill, not Bison Bill. :) No matter what you call them, it doesn't really matter of course.

I have been watching the babies grow, and they really look like big calves when they are born. They are pretty darn cute. Then as adults they are just a huge mass of muscle. You are right, majestic is the perfect way to describe them.

Hey, I'd like to see more of your great landscape shots. Hope you can get a few and post them soon. Your shots are always inspiring to me.

All I know about Buffalo is. 'You can't roller-skate in a buffalo herd.":)

That is a nice image. I don't think I have ever seen one.

Amazing eagle images, Woody. Today while at the park, a young woman saw my camera and asked if I've seen the eagle sitting on the electric tower near the park. Why no, I haven't! She saw one 5 days in a row during early AM hours (7:30am to 9am). So I will keep watch! I haven't seen any eagles since either late March or early April. :sorrow:

This is a newly fledged Spotted Towhee. The immature bird looks quite different from the adult (bottom picture).
