​Hard to think Spring is just a few days away.

I was out before sunrise this morning and was surprised to see this. Sunrise was supposed to be at 7:05am. This was taken at 7am so no visible sun at the time - although the sun rose from below that spot. What would cause this pillar of light? :confused:

I would suspect reflections of the sun in the atmosphere.

Someone on Facebook shared this link. So it sounds as if it's a light pillar or sun pillar.
