First one is a keeper, we also have a mated pair of Bald Eagles in our neck of the woods. Got a bunch of pictures of the entire family last season, they had two young ones.

She was with her mate, that's the female, the male was smaller, kicked them both up walking into the woodlot where I saw this female last year around the same time, when you kick them up just stop, they usually will perch not far away.I am so jealous! I have been trying to get a good picture of an owl for a long time. These are beautiful. I am going out again Friday to look for some. I am having trouble finding them. Maybe I will get lucky Friday. If I do I will post pictures.

Wearing camo also helps, also try not to break any twigs beneath your feet, walk slowly, stop every 20-30 yards and inspect the area, and no sudden movements.Thank you John, my husband has some owl calls and he has an electronic call, maybe I will take them with me.
