Still marvelling at this 50-150 and being able to shoot at f2.8, probably should have stopped down a bit, but still experimenting with it :)

These are cropped quite a bit because I couldn't get any closer.

After the rain this morning...

I thought it needed a bit more room on the right hand side, so I went back out to take another shot.
The lighting had changed by the time I went back out.

I got my Tamron 150-600 back from getting warranty work done , I gave it a bit of a test when I got home. AF seems to be working OK now.

These are a few more test shots from the Tamron , I think it is an improvement over what I was getting out of it originally.
Maybe their adjustments have made it better.

This has been cropped quite a bit...

A couple more with the Tamron.
The AF locked up on me again today, had to switch the camera off, then back on and it worked again. Looks like there is still an issue there :(

Both these are cropped at 50%

Went for a walk down to the creek this afternoon, the humidity was oppressive so I didn't stay long. I took the Sigma 50-150 for something different.

I saw an Orange Footed Scrubfowl (my first sighting here), but I couldn't get a shot at it with only 150mm to work with :(

When I got back to the house, I was greeted by this Goanna near my front door, it found the nearest tree.
It was almost 5 feet long.
