Today was "National Kiss a Turtle Day" and they were lined up at the park waiting for their turn!!!!

I took my 15 year old grandson with me today and he tried his hand at picture taking. This is one of about 25 photos that he shot with my nikon D600 and the Tamron 150-600. This is his first time and I thought he did pretty good. See what you think. I set it on aperture priority, showed him where the zoom was and shutter button were and let him go at it.

i wasn't going to upgrade to the G2 but my G1 is starting to creep when held facing down...nothing affecting output, mind you but perhaps an excuse to buy another lens ;)....been perfectly happy with my G1 over the last 2+ years.

I was looking through some pictures I took back in 2014 and just wanted to post this here and let you look at it. Notice the tattoo on his arm, the chain links on the net and the little thing behind his head that keeps his glasses from getting lost. The first is the original and the second is a crop from the first one. This was taken at 300mm on the Tamron 150-600 lens.
