Just walked the yard with Jersey looking at the clouds. God is good!

03, October, 2016 - Trying out my 70-200. Looks like this too will be a monopod lens for me. I shake so badly. But I do like it when I can get a steady hand... even for a moment.

Recognize the car?

I had its cousin - a 1968 Javelin. Great car and only cost me $1200, I think, might have been less.

Great start to the day... Suppose to be a nice day today. Suppose to do some family stuff this afternoon. Should be a good day if I am up to it.

Went to a CornMaze and Pumpkin Patch with the family today. Had a big time. I am tired, but that is what naps are for...

love your night shot danno, what where your settings, not seeing any exif data?

That is strange Roy. I see them... and it was more of an early morning shot than a night shot - 5:56 AM :) I used the Sigma 10-20 f/3.5 and went with 10 mm, F 3.5, 25 sec, and ISO 250.

Early morning and early afternoon today. Pat has left for New Mexico to train a new Office Manager in Albuquerque. Weird thinking it will just be me and Jersey for a week. Her first trip in 5 years. Only second business trip ever. I traveled all the time so I guess it is my turn to wait at home.

I love the fog at sunrise.

Rough day on the windy hill today. Pat is in New Mexico and I did not sleep well. Makes me wobbly... more than usual. But I watched this video on focus trapping yesterday and tried it out on my walk. It was very interesting. Between windy and wobbly I focused on some small daisy like weeds that were blowing in the wind. Then I just let go of the back button and held down the shutter and when me or the wind lined everything up it would fire.

It was kind of interesting. the flower was not always the section in focus but that was kind of neat to see how it worked. I made it tougher focusing near the minimum distance for the lens and using f 2.8

I could see how this might be a good tool to use. It was a fun test

I was on the phone with Pat this morning when the sun was coming up. This is the view from my window... me standing in front of it outside in the 45 degree weather :) .

I came in to upload the shots to LR and as I looked out this shot was the sun higher in the sky... had to do an HDR. Same spot maybe 10 minutes apart. It went from mostly red and yellow to a golden color.

I just could spend the morning watching the sunrise. God's promise of a new day. Makes me smile.

Yes they do @nikonpup. More than once I have missed the really good one getting my stuff together to go out and take the shot. I am an early riser. I love seeing the sun come up. I have to say yours are pretty amazing.
