Where and what will you be shooting this weekend?

I noticed a footbridge the other day--been wanting to use my 18-35mm at the 18mm end to get a little distortion for something like that.

Have you tried getting up close and personal with your truck? Rick M has a thread for heavy equipment shots. You should take a look at what you might be able to get with your 20mm lens.

Turned out pretty good. Found on Osprey's nest and got some good BIF shots. I took some with the 7100 and some with the 750 . Used the 200-500 on both. Going to post up some comparison shots later.

Got some shots of an abandoned factory here in town, with the 20mm. Did a bunch of bracketing so I may post up some HDR shots as well.

Got a few landscape shots with the 20mm attached to the 7100. Some clouds rolled in so the sky wasn't too bad.
For some reason my landscape shots seem to come out better with the 7100. Maybe the absence of a low pass filter makes a difference. Once my warranty runs out on the 750, I may have it removed like @Horoscope Fish did.

I'm out the door with Max again.

I'm going to test out the AF-C "Group" focus mode on the D750. I have never used it before.
Also I'm sticking the 50mm on the D7100 and take some flower shots.

That is the plan anyway. :encouragement:

Took some good shots today of gulls in flight. Unfortunately the group mode that I was testing out turned out to be not what I hoped for.
The camera locked focus much faster in single mode then with the group mode. Also when it did lock , a lot of times it locked on the sky which is what it's not supposed to be doing.
I wont give up on it however until I do some more research into it. Maybe I was doing it wrong.

i think i will be heading up along the I91 somewhere, one of @wev 's hunting grounds. Either the Arb or Yorba park, or maybe both?

Not much chance for birds today. Overcast and rain/drizzle.
Maybe I'll go shoot something for the weekly challenge. (Architecture).

I might also go back to this sunflower field that I have found last week and re-shoot it. I'm not happy with the way it came out.

Max is already sitting next to me ready to go. He always knows when it's Saturday.
