Where and what will you be shooting this weekend?

We've been on a shutdown so I've been working 10 hour shifts for 13 days without a day off. I'm not scheduled for this weekend as of yet. And it is supposed to be nice. I'm going to make the best of it.

Take your camera to work day today as the weather has finally broken!
Lunchtime walk around Downtown Detroit today with the D7100 & 35mm 1.8G. First time I've used this lens since December.

This weekend ... was supposed to go to an all British car show here in town, but it's looking more like I'll end up at an outdoor arts festival with the family.

First weekend of the Spring Plant Sale, but I hope to visit to the lake before hours, if I can sneak in.

I'm out the door with Max (Mrs Blacktop is staying home) to check on that Osprey nest. Hopefully I'll get to see the chicks this time.

I offered to provide some 'royalty free' images of our town to be used in an internship recruitment effort. Figured it would be fun to shoot some images to give prospective doc's the look and feel of our small prairie town in hopes that one or two of these med students will choose to come here. That increases the possibility they will like it and come back as doc's once they graduate. Fun project - now if only the weather would cooperate. Rain is supposed to let up this afternoon. Town should look nice and clean after three days of rain.

I'm shooting portraits at home this weekend. Doing a small gathering of friends on Saturday, but I picked up a new roll of white seamless to try out (I only had black before) and will throw some gel up there too.

Got my first paid gig - shooting portraits at a family reunion for an acquaintance.

Looking forward to it - going to make sure all equipment is primed and ready to go tonight. Charge up the batteries, clean all the lenses (probably just stick with the Tammy 24-70 2.8). May have some funny fisheye ones of the kids goofing off.

I have my first newborn baby shoot today - doing it for a friend, never done these before either... I told her I can't do the Anne Geddes baby in flower pots shit but I will bring a sheepskin rug, fluffy blanket and stuff and see what we can get...

Then on Sunday I am shooting a trash the dress down at a local beach. :)
