Day #36 Feb. 5
A bird I hadn't seen before. I think it is a Phainopepla
I saw this car coming out of a side street, so I had to get a picture of it (You folks from across the ocean can identify it, maybe?)
I saw this off in the distance. I did not have time to get any closer to check it out, so I am not sure if it is a cemetery or some kind of a prayer walk.
A little stream I came upon while walking around in the desert. It is runoff from the snow melt on the mountains.

Day #37 Feb. 6
I haven't had good internet service for the past few days (The reason I am just now posting to catch up). Today I didn't have time to do much photography, but I have been reading a book on using One Flash. I decided I would try something they suggested using the built in flash. This is an old can of the brand of snuff that my Grandfather dipped for most of his life. I made a reflector to bounce the flash off of the ceiling using aluminum foil. I first tried filtering the flash with tissue paper, but that was still too harsh. The foil worked fairly well, eliminating the glare of direct flash. I was fairly pleased with the outcome of the experiment.

There's a little free library like this in downtown Delray that I keep meaning to get a shot of. It only has one shelf.

A couple of "Long Range" bird shots.
A dove flying off in the distance. It is hard for me to get good shots of them, as they fly like rockets. It is no wonder that they are nicknamed "Gray Ghosts". Ha!

Day #38 (Continued)
This has caught my attention on various occasions. Notice the curiously interesting chimney. Two oil drums: a 55 and 35 gallon.
A feeble attempt to get a "Limited Light" shot. Sadly, it did not come out like I had planned. The candle really needed some help from the other direction to get more depth and less shadows on the left side. I guess that is part of learning. Ha!
