Nice lamp Mike. I'm just glad to know that I'm not the only one that lacks time to shoot. But keep it up my friend otherwise you'll just forget about the whole thing and we'll miss you.

Let's hope tomorrow will be better.

Day Ninety

This weekend marks the One Quarter point. Weather is starting to get nice so I can find outside stuff. Another very busy day at work. I had the camera but never got to take it out of the bag. Some grocery shopping on the way home, and had to settle for whatever in the yard. I guess you all recognize the Dandelion. I've got enough of those to take a photo of a different one every day of the summer.

Well I didn't win the Mega Bazillion Lottery jackpot last night. In fact, my numbers weren't even close. I guess if I'm going to get a new D7000, I'd better go back to counting these.

Yes, there is a Canadian penny in that pile. Once they're out of circulation, they might become valuable.
Oh yea... NO prize if you find it. Kinda like Where's Waldo.

Day Ninety Two

I think I blew my window of opportunity for the Dogwood blossom. I knew it was blooming, but figured I had enough time to wait until today. No such luck. All the blossoms just look kind of flat and unimpressive. Maybe the ones at the top are good, but I can't reach that high.

I did find that one of the Azalea bushes was just starting to come into bloom so I clipped a small branch and here it is.

Nice. That's a 'hang on the wall' version, Mike. :)

OK History lesson here. Lewis and Clark. Both local Virginia boys. They have been given credit for discovering the area covered by the Louisiana Purchase and the Northwest Territories. We all know that those areas were already there so they really only mapped the areas. They did not discover them.

I went to Lewis and Clark Jr High! They may not have discovered it but you have to admit what they did took some big kahunas...I think they passed through Tulsa on the way back and the Osage Indians about had them for dinner...LOL

Today is Flower Day. Had some Irises bloom. White ones were a few days ago, but the wind wouldn't let me shoot them. Today it was rather calm so I got a fair shot of the white ones, a fair shot of the purple one and a pretty decent Dogwood bloom I like the Dogwood best.

I wish we could stock pictures forward for later days. hehehe...

Day Ninety Five

I was going to make a smart comment for Rick about the day number but I won't.

Remember the Daffodil back on day Ninety? Well this is the same flower five days later. It looked crappy in color so I made it b/w.

I decided to add a lily today too because the Daffodil was so plain.
