Honestly the main reason why I bought it was the control points, but I see Dfine is quite good aswell. Going to be fun I think. Now to change my editing style a bit.

Playing around with the extension tube and remote control app while I'm supposed to be paying attention to a long and boring conference call.
Pretty cool. Just don't overfly any skeet ranges.Piddled $1500 away on a camera with rotors.
One thing that I like about DFine is that it is easy to "batch" export a group of files from Lightroom, process and reimport. I take advantage of this with my V2 images - works well.

Just received email from b&h my Nikkor 200-500 is on its way by there by the 27 of Oct. Due home on the 29 of Oct. Just in time for Halloween and grand kids.

Favorite wife is going to New York city for a week at Thanksgiving. She did this last year and did not carry her camera. She missed it so this year she wants to carry a camera but the D7000 was to big for her and she is afraid of walking around the street carrying it. So we have been looking at pocket cameras. She finally decided on the Nikon Coolpix S9900. Nice mix of size, zoom, ease of use and the kicker is that it has the modes she is used to. Not just Auto like on many of them it gets here tomorrow so we will have a chance to play with it and post a few images. I also think this will be a good camera to put in the case with the other cameras. There are times when the D7?00 is just more than you want to carry. (but not often)

Just purchased a Nikkor 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED-IF AF-S VR II Autofocus Telephoto Zoom Lens and a Hoya 77mm UV filter from ADORAMA and a Think Tank Retro 50 shoulder bag from B&H. Damn Nikon and their 10% off refurbs. My D7000 wasn't cutting it compared to my FX bodies with the new 200-500 (which arrives back from Nikon service today), so it's time for a DX upgrade. The 7200 arrives Monday and the 7000 is now for sale.
LOL...Well, I'll go along with the Damn Nikon part.......I have a 7100 coming Monday. I couldn't be more excited.......
