Tell me about it. The accessories can add up to. I don't own a Rolex, would love to get the Explorer II in white. One day.....yeah, I bought a Rolex just to have one because they are beautiful, I can imagine your collection just because I see your camera collections list and for every camera you must have accessories as well

Do we really want to go there? My wife and I were in Prague in spring and I "accidentally" walked into a Bell & Ross store when I was supposed to be off taking pictures.... she found me but I almost bought another one home. I did buy another Christopher Ward though - the vintage U-2 to remind me of my time in the Air Force.

$750 Canadian? That's about $580 US, which is a good price if it's in good shape. I'm confident that you know what to look for. (Not that I do.)

I found a tripod by STAR-D MANUFACTURING CO., INC. at a yardsale for 5$ in excellent condition, by far the best tripod I ever had. It seems to be used for equipment for surveying, I'm sure some of the old timers know of this tripod
I have a Star D copy stand, D is for Davidson, as in Davidson Optronics. The company's been around quite a while. Should be a good one as is or you could upgrade the pan, tilt with a ball head.

It's a fantastic tripod and I will leave it as is, I don't need any upgrade for my simple needs, it pans, tilt and rotates in all directions, I'm a happy camper
