Spot the Heron.

With an 8 ft wingspan it shouldn't be too hard to see, especially when it's in the middle of the photograph. However, its horizontal takeoff was just too horizontal.

I was in the local park, going for a different angled shot, so camera almost on the floor,

It does help if I move my bike out of the way 1st.

I saw he was ready to take off and tried to anticipate the direction. I can't see a thing on the monitor on the AW110. I miss my viewfinder!!!
