Day 55m, Feb 24th 2012

My tuning companion, this iPAQ has seen it all. It's been so far the most trustworthy piece of equipment that I've bought. Hopefully, saying this won't affect it's performance for the future.

I can't believe it's still that cold up north. Our cherry blossoms are already on their bud stage and ready for bloom this March.

So far we had quite a mild winter. But it's not over yet since we are expecting around 25 cm of snow tonight.

Still Day 55, trying to get days off on the long run :)

Here are a few shots this morning. The snowy trees shot was taken at night and with the city's sodium vapor lights I had to go almost B&W. The bakery shots are just to make you hungry ;)

I forgot to put these up the other day. A view of my back yard during a heavy snowfall. To me, it's depressing, as I don't feel like going out to take pictures. I can't wait for spring and summer to finally arrive!

Top pic is left side of the yard...bottom pic is right side of the yard. And yes, those are apple trees. :)

You should really think about putting together a coffee table book of all of your piano customers.

You could call it...

"Pianos and Those That Love Them"

BWTHDIK???

That's exactly what I'm working on Pete. I'm up to about 140 now and I try to keep the numbers going up.
I'm just not sure if it will have text or not but I'll see when I get there.
I'm taking pictures now and when I retire I'll put the book together.

Thanks for your vote of confidence. :)

Another piano lover:

ps: I deliberately leave some kind of tools or felts in the piano as a personal signature as well.

A very nice photo Marcel. The gentleman looks completely engrossed in his appreciation of the piano.

Great idea! So in 100 years on the antique road show the appraisers will be able to say that this piano was a "Marcel" :)

I mean I leave them in while I take the picture. Otherwise I'd be out of tools in no time. :)

Day 61, March 1st 2012

No tools left inside the piano this time. I was almost tempted to take my flash out and bounce it from behind me, but after a trial, I decided to keep the light natural. Not too bad a result for mixed light I'd dare to say.
