I thought I would try the CF Hub for the D810.The SD card plugs into it.

Might be cheaper in the long run.

Bought this one for 13 Eur:

Phottix-6-in-1-IR-remote.jpg
Till now I had an official trigger for Nikon, a JJC for Pentax and none for Sony.
This one works for all 3, tested last week and at half the price of the Nikon sent at home.

I bought:

https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/photo/

It ended its beta yesterday and released. For 40$ it's a steal. Watch the vid on that page; it's promo but interesting nonetheless. I'd have paid the money for the frequency separation tool alone: https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/tutorials/

What I also fancy is that my brushes have a preview mode. When I hover about the part of the image I edit, I see exactly what will happen before I use the tool. I don't know if other editors have that option but to me it was new.

Mac-only this far.

It looks like a great piece of software. I'm hoping you'll et us know how it performs! :)
