Wendy's 52 Photo's in 2015

Week 28/52 Theme: Gates. This is the antique gate in front of the Manti Temple in Utah. It is really dry here so there was a big dry spot on the lawn, but the flowers are pretty. There is actually a sidewalk between the flowers and the gate, but I got down on my belly to get this shot so the sidewalk is not visible.
Week 29/52 Theme: Night. We went to Bear Lake for the Holiday weekend. As we were driving around the lake I saw this huge group of geese. They were just wandering around on the grass next to the lake. Being a photographer, you know that I parked illegally, jumped out of the car, and ran through the geese crap to get a shot. Well, that scattered the geese and I chased them into the water. That was perfect because the sun was low and the colors were nice. All of those geese in the water were on the grass until this seasoned photographer got excited and scared them away.

that story on myself. You could just say you were positioning them exactly where you wanted them. I would have bought that
LOL Ron, I can only share the story with other "seasoned photographers", because I know that we all do things like that. LOL
I would not put that to a vote. I, for one, do not always believe that confession is good for the soul. We need to maintain our air of invincibility. I only confess to my mirror and I do not altogether trust the fellow I see there. Loose lips, sinks ships.:excitement:
Thanks for identifying the tree Roy. It is a different tree for we who live in the desert, Jacaranda Tree's don't grow here. But now I have a nice photo of one. Thanks for the compliment.

Week 29/52 Theme: Extreme. I went on a hike up the mountain that is in back of my daughter's house. This place has an incredible view of the whole valley from Ogden to SLC and over the Great Salt Lake. I will be taking more hikes here. This is an extreme shot of the sunset at about 6000 feet above sea level.
