I left a comment on his blog and he responded saying he is working on a part 2.

That's good since there are parts I still struggle with since I don't really understand the mechanics at play. I adjust some options and if it looks good keep it, else I retry. It works but since I don't know what I'm doing I have to repeat that trial and error process each shot.

Thats exactly what I have been doing, trying things out without understanding whats going on.

In some way RT is too complex and too powerful if you have to start using it at this stage. It will probably be easier for those that have been using it since start but when you go from LR or any other editor to RT you get overwhelmed.

It doesn't help that some options look like merely some detail within the editor but when you start using them, turn out to be pretty complex. The B&W part as an example looks like some basic addition but once I started using it, it turned out to be a magnificent and powerful tool.

There's a new release for OS 10.10 so probably for all other systems too.

Some mild changes and additions. Wavelets got their own section and are slightly expanded.

The newest version seems to be faster and even when wavelets aren't expanded that much, the addition does a nice job.

Are you still using RT J-see? It still confuses the crap out of me...I've been sticking with the free NXd program, but feel it's limited.

It's still my main program to do RAW editing. I combine it with Affinity Photo which is only available on Mac.

RT is confusing until you start to break the program up in pieces and look at them individually.
