Great experience and fast shipping with B&H. Will definitely keep them in mind for stuff.

Keep them in mind enough and they'll even send you a big fat catalog to drool over!
At this point i look at it as they got me exactly where they want me. lol

I must be crazy, because I have three cameras now. Just purchased a X100t, in black.

I wanted to click both "thanks/like" and "disagree" ha ha
I'm on my third Nikon and considering the Sonya6000 for a "backup" - I've been seeing some hefty discounts on those and wondering if a new iteration is around the corner. My husband has the Sony a7ii & we would share the a6000 (and some lenses) if we get one.

Sharking ebay for a decently used Galaxy S5 Active. My S2 is on its last breaths, and I simply cannot rely on it all day anymore - need to check emails these days, and data murders that poor thing even with an extended battery. Another factor is humidity here, and pockets get even more so, thus waterproof phone is something very welcome at this point. I've had even my Nokias start glitching due to humidity.

The thing is, as soon as something new comes out, the "next thing" is already being thought of.

I have really enjoyed this lens for the past month since I bought it. It has delivered a lot of bang for the buck on the D5500. Sorry for the huge picture. It was a screen capture that I resized but it still opens to a very large image!

Not "latest" in that it was purchased a few months ago - but finally got it out of the box and put up.
A "Dog House" hunter's blind to hide from the birdies in the backyard. (it does pop-up and comes with a big round carrying bag to make it portable.

They're a great rig,FKD I got one for hunting.I did get the fold out chair blind for birding.Love it too.Happy Shooting.

Took it for a test drive today - caught a few Yellow Finches, but I'm afraid these things are fattening. . . . when you take a bag of cookies and thermos of coffee to keep warm inside. This birding is a patience building project I'm finding.

Added a couple of new monopods to the arsenal of stuff. Primarily to replace the cheap ones I had purchased years ago that served me very well. The first one is a Manfrotto 680B Photo Compact. The name is misleading, this is a beast of a monopod with a huge pipe diameter. It will be very useful for some of our big lenses.

Compact 4-Section Monopod 680B - Compact | Manfrotto

The second tripod is a Manfrotto 290 Series Carbon Fiber. Not as hefty as the above, but plenty solid.

294 Carbon Fiber Monopod 4 Sections MM294C4 - 290 Series | Manfrotto

These are both really nice monopods. However, after using cheap monopods and higher end monopods, I would never knock a cheaper monopod. It's a simple tool that does not require a large investment to get this tool to do what it is supposed to. This of course leads to the point of why did I go to the higher end models? After years of wear and tear they simply started to show their age under the heavy lenses I often use. Legs started to collapse, foam grip no longer staying in place, and the top platform not as tight as it once was. With all that said, I cannot refute having got my money worth out of the cheap units.

How can you do that? For me, coffee and sit still is impossible.

Took it for a test drive today - caught a few Yellow Finches, but I'm afraid these things are fattening. . . . when you take a bag of cookies and thermos of coffee to keep warm inside. This birding is a patience building project I'm finding.
