Don, your stuff is always great, but the last 3 or 4 sets are just spectacular. So many of them just felt as if I were there taking in the scene. Right on!!

I have a new local mentor who is probably the best photographer I have ever met and he is just a nice guy to boot. We go shooting together when he is in town and after beating him on the head I made him start critiquing my work. He has a very good way of telling you you are doing it all wrong and being nice about it. kevin michael snyder Photography

Really trying to get better at what I love. I think I am like a lot of the members here in that I am never quite satisfied with what I shoot.

Seriously nice work here Don. Glad I didn't miss your picture thread. Loved the first post with fireworks and your night shots. I really do like low light and long exposure photography. Look forward to keeping up with your newest shots! Cheers.

That's my new project.
No keepers so far, though.

Keep up the good work, Don.

I got a set of split ND filters and am learning to use them for landscapes. Decided they'd work stacked and covering the lens with just the bs part. I will post sown if the landscapes soon where I just use them to darken the skies.

I had a friend who stepped out of her rv, looked over the rim and said, ok, what's next on the list? You do not want to be that person. If I lived as close as you I would be there at least 4 times a year.

i like the north rim, cuts way down on tourists and tour buses. If i lived in the state it would be nice to visit all four seasons.

We had a limited time there so we hired a guide. He lived in Florida most of his life but loved shooting the Grand Canyon and would visit at least once a year to shoot. He finally just moved to Flagstaff and started offering photo tours a few years ago. He shoots a Nikon 800e and his wife shoots a Nikon D5300 I think.
