Oh, I hadn't forgotten about the screwdriver. It's just that the light was coming down and I wanted to take the pic before it was too dark outside.

Thanks for the likes and the comments Helene, Jack and Stamatis.

Day 33, I had better light than yesterday for my piano person project. My collections of such persons is growing nicely. I hope you won't get too bored with my portraits of persons with their pianos.

Your portraits are of down to earth people that truly enjoy their pianos because of you. You are able to show that joy because of them.

How could that ever be boring? :)

Thanks Pete. I for one really enjoy doing these. They are a challenge every time. Some people have to be coaxed, some are OK with the picture ideas. I spring it on them at the last minute just before they pay my bill and make a firm demand. But the light is often the biggest challenge. Yesterday's shot for example, was in a very dark room. And the person had lost her father just the week before and she didn't want to have her picture taken. But I insist and only take 3 or 4 shots max. So they are almost candid snaps.

Some days, just the idea of taking a new picture gets me out of the house and working. :)

Day 34, feb 3rd 2012.
Today there was nobody home for my assignment. But I found an interesting prop for my today's shot. :)

Well, freelensing sounded so good I had to give it a trial. Not particularly happy, but the effect and the possibilities are there. For close ups though one needs a pretty steady hand. :)

So here's my first:

These last three shots are just outstanding, Marcel. But I absolutely love the two cousins at the piano . . . my favorite ! have you thought about doing it in BW?
