If you can push to the D800e, then do that, if the D800e is really pushing the finances, then go for the bog standard D800

Over here, the D800e is roughly £200 more than the D800, both new and second hand

Bill, is there a charger in the package, or will you need to buy your own? Obviously if it came with a charger, you'd need some type of converter. If you won't be getting a charger and don't have one, let me know. I think I now have 3 Nikon original EN-EL 15 chargers because I bought one from a forum member when Nikon took back his D600 and replaced it with a D610 (plus I have the chargers from my own D610 and D7100). I don't have any extra Nikon batteries to offer though.... Will let it go for a low price. Looks like they are $49 new.

It has a charger.... But as you say it is for Australian power plugs. But I have my charger for my V1 batteries, and they maybe the same batteries as the D800e takes, I'm not sure.
