/52 Theme: Looking Up: The Worm Moon : The Full Worm Moon was given its name by the Algonquin tribes from New England to Lake Superior. At the time of this spring Moon, the ground begins to soften and earthworm casts reappear, inviting the return of robins. In some regions, this is also known as the Sap Moon, as it marks the time when maple sap begins to flow and the annual tapping of maple trees begins.

/52 Theme: Abandoned. I drove up Cottonwood Canyon to Alta. When I saw this abandoned shack that had been built into the side of the mountain, I knew that it was going to be my next entry. If you ever come to Utah, you MUST go to Alta. The skiing is great, but the scenery is Outstanding!

/52 Theme Colours. This is the very colorful Sun Dog that we saw this week. It was much more striking than this photo shows. I Know that the bottom cloud is blown out from the sun, but I wanted to keep the cloud formation in the shot. The cloud looks like it has a funnel looking formation. I also pulled out some of the colors from the sundog for the frame.

/52 Theme: Depth of Field/Macro. I love it being spring now. This is a macro shot of some 5mm leaves. DOF is narrow but I like the detail and the colors.

/52 Theme: Reflections. This is a reservoir in Delta, where we went for a little get away this week. I thought that it was funny to see the picnic table in the water, and the reflection of the table, trees, and bushes was quite poetic.

Unless you learn to face your own shadows, you will continue to see them in others, because the world outside you is only a reflection of the world inside you.
