It's called "trade up, or up sell" and pretty soon you might get your hands on a D4s! Whoopie! lol
Now there is one of my big pipe dreams! A D4s! Not much chance of getting that, but at least I can day dream about having one! Lol

You can have one.....but either you have to buy it well used, or sell a lot of Nikon stuff through your Pawn Shop and buy it brand new. Good luck...and don't stop working for a D4s at the D810 price. In other words don't quit when you get enough moola for a D810. Go all the way for a D4s. By that time Nikon will have come out with a D5 (I'm guessing)

After contemplating on this for over a year, i went ahead & ordered the Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 pro dx
Considered a second hand piece (a difference of $200) as well as the pro dxII (a difference of $50) and decided this will do..

Saw today where Sony is shipping it in the US on December 9th. Have fun! Just got my 16-35mm f/4.0 yesterday. Gotta go do some shooting today or this weekend.

You'll love it. If you never had an UWA lens before, it will take a little time getting used to shooting a certain way to minimize distortion.

Stumbled on this used "GITZA" monopod this morning. Couldn't pass it up for $15!! Gotta love eBay at times. Not the carbon one I've been looking for, but it'll do in a pinch.
