This is the kind of landscape I had to cycle through the last two weeks. Weather perfect, warm and cloudy just enough not to get too hot while going uphill, all in all, it was the perfect scenario.

One day when we came back from our cycling ride, the clouds were really menacing but I mis-focused my shot. So, I had to resort to HDR and filters to get this image. It probably would make a nice postcard or small frame picture. I would not like to see it enlarged too much. Sometimes it's good to have a bag of tricks.

Here is a severe crop I did from a snapshot in France last month. I thought the shoes were indeed extremely interesting but I was amazed at the sharpness of this little bugger's lens.

I thought current X10 owners would be interested in seeing how the X30 performs in low light & high ISO. A member of a Fuji forum took the X30 out for a spin at a concert and here are his results:

Pretty damn impressive for a 2/3" sensor at ISO 2500.
