Finally headed out to something I pass on my way to work every day and on my way home too. Been meaning to get there and try to shoot it in a moody kind of way. I hope this portrays what it's ment to.

tonight is just the basic shot as my team (Middlesbrough) have just lost what was a marathon game against far better (or so many think) opposition. The accumulation of which was an epic penalty shoot out that had 30 penalty's taken before finally somebody stuttered.

Today I decided to try an infinity background product style shot (with an egg cup) to see how it went.

This is the shot. ok so nothing to write home about but then its just me experimenting.

this is the set up, 2 100 watt constant light bulbs, one with reflector to help overpower the bright sun and then I used my youguno and bounced it from the roof as a fill flash. Could maybe use something to fill the bottom as there's a shadow I just can't get rid of where the egg cup sits on the paper....

Good guess simthai1, but its wrong. Its a picture of the inside of a smoked and crackle effect vase, I lit it from the out side with a studio light and directed the on camera flash to iluminate the dark side. I the upped the saturation levels to 11 to get the vivid colours.

I like it. The colour is great and it would also look good cropped square :D

30/9/14 I call this remembrance as the figure in the for ground brings back memories of 2 family members who are no longer with me.
