Bought the Sony A7 full frame for $1381, which includes the lens (28-70). It was a refurbed one with only 65 clicks on it. Now, I have time to play with it for 30 days to see if I like it or not.

Sigma 12-24 and MB-D14 battery grip for the D610. Can't believe the size of that front element and the FOV is unreal. I need to get out for a play!

How does it compare to the 610?

Hard to say @Blacktop....I have great glass on the D610 and meh glass on the A7. Size impresses me. Love the smaller size. Probably order a lens or two for the A7. Or, just might order a fotodiox adapter for my Nikon to Sony lenses. Thinking of options. I've seen some brilliant pictures taken with the Sony with good glass. Overall, I lke the menu and layout of the Sony, but I'm used to the Nikon. Will let you know for sure later!

... Don't know why I haven't bought one already.
Yeah, we don't either and, frankly, *it's been a little annoying.

I prefer to attach mine to the carry lug, though... Go ahead and call me precious but I'm not a fan of my camera hanging from the tripod mount.

Wait until you really know me! I agree my BR strap and this one will go on the carry lug, I like this much better as well, Plus with the D7100 it can attach directly to the lug. No need for a Bostail or simular.

I need to learn more about strap/carry options for the D7100 now that I have real carry lugs on my camera body. :D

I love the BR Wrist Strap. I've carried my D7100 (with battery grip) with a Sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 (about 3 Lbs all by itself) on all-day shoots pretty comfortably. I used to use a sling strap 99% of the time but it's been replaced by the wrist strap. Mainly because I don't like bulky stuff. It's why I use a BosStrap sling-strap vs. any of the BR sling-straps; where the BR straps are thick and stiff and almost over-engineered (just my opinion) the BosStrap is light and flexible. The BR wrist strap is even more minimalistic, and that's why I love it. At first I thought I'd miss not having both hands free, as I do when I'm using a sling, but it turns out I prefer having the camera in my hand as I carry. I still have my sling, and still use it, but the wrist strap is the new daily-carry solution.

If you have really big hands, you may not like it. I have larger than average paws and I can make it work fine, but for those with real "catchers mitts" this may not be the case. I also wish the branding was a little less billboard like.

Picked up a Nikkor 35mm 1.8G lens at the weekend at long last (well only four months but I meant to get one right away). I already feel like its making me think more about where I'm standing and composition before taking the shot. My 70-300 has now got stiff competition for its place on my D3200.

Love my Tok' 11-16mm. Difficult to use well in a creative sense (at least for me!) but the lens itself, really, leaves nothing to be desired.

...

watch art wolfe videos , get in close , get low etc and you increase the chance of creative shots , heres a photo from the first shoot , got 1700 likes on facebook which was cool
