Well I took the plunge, and I just hope I don't drown in the cost! Lol I bought a Nikkor AF 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR ed lens for my walk around and wildlife lens! I now have to pay $647.77 and wait for it to get here! It's suppose to be like new, not a scratch one it! Woohoo!:D

Something rather small today: a ML-L3 remote.

A couple years ago I purchased one of these to use when taking nighttime shots at a local carnival. It works better when standing in front of the camera rather than behind it. An Amazon Basics remote worked slightly better although still missed a shot here and there. I had to reach my arm around to the front of the camera with both remotes. Then I simply decided to by a wired cable which works much better for the carnival shots. ;) For group shots when standing in front of the camera (and especially when you are in the shot), this remote should work fine. Good luck with yours. :)

Is this the place to discuss GAS? (Gear Acquisition Syndrome)

I have trouble not to bid on a Sigma 300-800m going 1200€ in the last minutes on e-bay.
There is also a strange D700 + 24-70 f2.8G at 800€ under guarantee on a second hand site since midnight.

I do not need these, but ...

I likely shouldn't go looking for one then. Lol :D

I was looking into 35mm recently and the Sigma f1.4 Art comes out as a superb lens (Nikkor 35mm f1.4 like without that price and a little lighter I believe). However it is bulky. Honestly if I could I would certainly have the Sigma for the special moments. Congrats Horoscope Fish.
