And you think you don't have what it takes?? These are great pictures.

LOL thanks
I don't have what it takes to sit up all night in freezing weather in the hope of a great shot.
But … well I might be persuaded with a bottle of something, a fire and good company.

Day 138

A few months ago when the northern hemisphere folks were posting autumn colours I was amazed at some of the photos. Right now our colours are looking stunning so herewith some more beautiful leaves.

I am particularly proud of this next one. I spotted the leaf in the air and tried to focus and shoot with my 35mm f/1.8.
Cropped quite severely in the hope you can see the subject. :)

Day 139

No mojo today …
I must have been in a 'rustic' mood going by the photos.
Had the 35mm on and learned a bit more about its DoF

I like the gate, and the sharp detail in the tree bark Lawrence, the 35mm is a great lens :)

It sure is. I often put it on for something specific and then just leave it on. Its good for reminding me to zoom with my feet. I am only just getting used to the narrow depth of field.

Cool shot, this last one!!

Love those red leaf shots on previous page.

The 35mm blur out background in a very special way, don't you think?
