a clearer shot of the deer than the first ones i took

the above and below shots show a man made box in the trees so the eagles can build their nests in them, apparently these two are bad nest builders and the nest were breaking up in the winds and the chicks fell out, both the nest have tagged chicks in them, or maybe the have flew the coup now, these are the things you learn standing beside the locals.

i tried again to get a decent shot of crows, but again i failed..... maybe next time

i should have gotten out of the car for a close up of its eye, this made some noise, i was expecting a large bird when i heard it. lol

I took Rebecca to the local baseball game, she had lots of fun, never saw a minute of the game!!!

Get a room....

there was to have been a fireworks display after the game but with all the wild fires we are having it was cancelled

its was super hero dress up night, anyone dressing up got in free, Rebecca's seat won her 2 free movie passes, i guess we gotta go there now

DAY 137

it was foster parent day at lake perris, never been here but both my 2 boys were sick today, rebecca had it midweek and past it on, both of them are sleeping it off either side of me while i post these.

dont know if you can see the smoke in the shot over the lake, fires are about 40 miles south and the smell up here is bad, i heard it went from 600 sq acres to 6000 in one day, still hot 98, weather was supposed to be cooler now, roll on the winter

i think these are blue dashers??
