Bombs away was my thought too! Man you have done a great job here! What did you do to get your water to look that nice and dark? Mine seems to always look a little off color.

I have a really good camera.

Actually I use Nik's Vivesa 2 and set control points on each section separately darken and structure the water so you see the texture and the adjust the bird to get the color correct and structure where I want it. It sounds a lot harder than it is. It really lets to take a photo and get all of it correct instead of sacrificing one area to get another area correct.

Took a walk around a local lake and managed a few shots, but it was either very bright light or dark shadows, so I was switching settings madly and not too well (I know, pick one thing. . . )

I was somewhat discouraged by yesterdays shots, so I went back to the lake today and did somewhat better; I'll just put up a few and send the rest to my gallery. I'll get the hang of this eventually.

My neighbor the taxidermist did a great job, didn't he? Articulated wings and everything. So much easier than standing stock still staring through an eyepiece and getting lucky.

I knew it. Tell your taxidermist he does great work and then there is your cleaver work with this outstanding prop.

Snow Geese just flew over the office. Most likely on their way to feed in one of the local corn fields. They should continue to push north next week.
