Continued... Day 76 Duck (Cinnamon Teal)

This tiny duck is incredibly skittish. If it even thought you looked its way they took flight. Lots of flight pictures, but very few on the ground and always too far away.

In the water. Not great, but you can see it. Really lightened and cropped to make it visible.

In flight, color is accurate.

American Avocet. I twitched one last year. No photos. Had to use one hell of a scope. Just too far for a photo.

If you were on my cookie list, I have just removed you. Actually, the focused sucks because I was shooting the 200 to 500 in high winds with no tripod. So that being said the focus is okay. I could not hold that lens still to save my butt.

Like MoabMan, I'm probably better off without the cookies. LOL

I know this is not just a forum of men. Where are all the ladys, to put it in hippies words, "who should be helping a sister out!"

Day 77 Sleeping Dogs Lie

My daughters dog late last night. This dog hears everything. Set up to take the shot and long before her eyes opened up long enough to look at me in disgust for waking her and thinking I could sneak up on her.

I love the low light capability and lack of noise when using the D600 and high ISO. Soon, I will be sending in my D600 for shutter replacement recall, but I have a hired shoot coming up in Idaho I have to get done first. If the shutter replacement recall resolves the issue then this camera IMO is a perfect compliment to my D7100.

That bird was so hopped up on caffeine or something. He kept hopping around like he was out of his mind. Beautiful bird.

Day 80 Shells

With us taking care of MoabLadies dad, there are a number of nik-naks available to shoot when time doesn't allow. This is his sea shell flower he picked up in Kissimmee, FL.

Day 81 Bear River Migratory Refuge

MoabLady and I took a break from care taking to shoot some birds. Conditions... lighting, was much better today.

Great Blue Heron

Bald Eagle - He was out there and really had to reach to pull in an image.

Landscape - Last week there was a lot of beautiful landscape to shoot.

Burn - Unfortunately, the Department of Natural Resources decided to do a burn. Instead, I found a way to make it interesting.
