Funny you mention that, there will be one in my future in about 3-4 years. I very much miss my 1970 Challenger. Sadly that Challenger had to go to a new home when I had left for Germany.

Agreed, but without the crop factor of DX it just seems even thinner. It also seems to have a sharper transition from in focus to out of focus. However, it could entirely be perception.
