a few from today's chariot races, all of which are cropped, but 100% if you open in a new window. Absolutely no problem with the focus keeping up with the target.

My gear landed and it's like christmas! I'll prob post samples and my thoughts in another thread but I have a question for the people that own in.

There is a slight whine when focusing? Is this normal. And by slight e mean I have to be paying attention to hear it. My wife 4 ft away can't hear it at all.

Mine seems to be a touch soft wide open but at f3.2 and up its astounding.

coming from the sigma 35 1.4 and Nikon 85 1.8g it had some big shoes to fill wide open though. I a, not used to shooting zooms.

Last home meet of the season, meaning the last time the seniors will be in front of the home crowd. Another attendance record for the season, along with 2 other recognitions: #1 in the nation for gymnastics attendance & #1 in the nation for any women's sporting event (for the year). I mostly captured a lot of team shots since a number of the more popular gymnasts won't be around anymore.

@NVSteve, the more you post of these shots the more I am impressed with the ability of that lens. I know you are taking the pictures and they are great, just dont have any experience with Tamron and am really impressed with it.

Thanks to you both. Shooting indoors is tough: high ISO that I hate, harsh light, deep shadows & lighting literally from hell. All I can say is that I'm pleased with the D600/Tamron combo. The only way I'd be 100% happy is if they held the meets outdoors in the middle of a bright day, but I don't see that ever happening.

You produce excellence with the D600/ 70-200 combo, under very difficult circumstances--kudos!

Still loving this lens. I'm hooked the 70-200 VC and the 24-70 VC are the best buys I've made.

A beautiful series of Arizonian landscapes Tom! I love it when a shooter utilizes subject isolation with a landscape--excellent the way you do it here. Tamron has hit a lot of HRs, but this lens may just be their best yet! Best
