had to wait on the plumber to come to get me an estimate on getting a tankless water heater installed. Now waiting on the delivery buy with my new refrigerator. Having to replace the 4 year old one that has already had to be repaired three times and is not working correctly now and needs $400 in repairs to see if they could get it to work. Better to throw it away and get a new one. Calling contractors to have a patio installed. Yea, more concrete work.

So, just waiting around mostly.

Playing around with my new D3300. Taking flower shots with the 50mmF1.8AF.

Realised that my hands shake! Was not a problem with film (may be as I was younger), a minor matter with the D70 and the D300. But with 24MP sensor it shows. So now I am with a tripod. The shots are better, but still not razor sharp. Have to hone on my technique.

07.30 and bed time after night shift. Managed to get some misty morning sunrise photos on the way home. A bit of PP when I get up later then.

In the 24 years I lived in my previous house, I had to replace the water heater 4 times. It was so often that the last time I did the job, I used compression fittings instead of soldering in anticipation of the next change. Without a doubt, it was the most consistent break down I've ever experienced. I think I would have eventually gone with a tankless unit. I decided to move instead.

@ScottM: just remember to use a long telephoto when shooting crocodiles;)
We, here at Belgrade Zoo have a few young Cuban crocodiles - I was AMAZED with how fast and sudden they can move in certain situations (when I saw that for the first time)... And as I am posting, I keep an eye on video surveillance monitors...

Dont worry I am very cautious around the waters here and keep a good distance. The crocs I saw were only a few metres in length but its the ones you do not see that you need to worry about.

Had a crap overloaded day. Ordered some more camera bits on eBay. Had a quick bit to eat washed down with a stiff drink and ready for bed now.
Roll on tomorrow for the same.

Can't wait for the photographic holiday in 2 weeks!

Had a bad day with this forum. Since morning no file was getting uploaded. In the process I deleted all the uploaded files and discovered that they are linked to the post. So now all my posts have no photos. Have to find a method of reinstating them.
