Spent a recent afternoon at Perth's Kings Park the other day, wanting to see how I would fare snapping dragonflies. You need plenty of patience and be prepared to ignore a potential audience watching you wave your camera around like some neurotic basket case. Forget employing your autofocus, I found it easier to have the D3S - 70-200 on Manual setting. The early shots were woeful before you find your rhythm and worked out how dragonflies behave. I have attached one here and would luv some feedback.
