Finally had a chance to use the 85mm, no UV filter yet, driving me crazy :)

Hit the rink with my son. I like the results, still need to work on my exposures and adjust to these D7100 focus points.

I think your WB may be a bit off in these, but they are great shots.

Michigan / Detroit Red Wings hosted the NHL Winter Classic this past week. Downtown was a big winter party with the Red Wings/Maple Leafs alumni hockey game in Comerica Park. The surrounding area was a big winter party.

Finally back for 2014 :)

In between laptops and still working on my initial cloud backup on backblaze has me sitting on a few images. Finally put a few through LR tonight.

Getting cabin fever here in Michigan with this cold weather. Took a few shots in the house this past week with the 85mm 1.8G

Flickr is telling my I cannot pull the share code for the forum unless my images are viewable by the public. They are all viewable by the public - anyone else experiencing this?

Finally wrapped up the Flash Guide DVD from Jared Polin last week. Was itching to take some pictures and put the Nikon SB-24 in some strategic places. Here are a few shots.

In the popcorn machine (yes, cleaned the glass but popcorn makes a bit of a mess).

The Autorama has arrived in Detroit! Dad and I did our usual half day off work to stroll through the show yesterday.
Started using a FitBit and found out I did 10K steps during the show :)

Took the D7100 & 50mm 1.8G, Manual, No flash.

Uploaded a few shots from Friday on Flickr, see a few below. I'll return Sunday and may have a few more.
