Very disturbing!!! I LIKE IT!!!!!

2014-039:

Sometimes you go out looking to photograph one thing and then find something utterly... um... different. And mildly disturbing.

This is actually hanging from the eaves of one of our favorite gastropubs, Black & Blue in Easton, PA. The owners are, well, a little dark humored, and this is a doll called "Dagger Baby" that is normally far less occupied. Had to laugh when I saw this today as I was failing to capture the courthouse across the street.

What kind of places are you hanging around in?

There were far less creepy things around Easton today...

Belviedere, NJ this morning.

Saw this store window and was immediately drawn to the green snake-skin platform heels.

Getting back on track, one more from today. This young female has made it a habit of bedding down under our bird feeders nightly for 4 or 5 nights now. I was worried a little with the snow, but then I thought, "She would get snowed on anywhere!!" Two minutes later she shook it off, ate some more seed, and was off.

was making my way back from the poconos this morning and was surprised to see so much snow on the ground in north jersey. We had nothing down on the shore(that is till about an hour ago,now we have about an inch) It seems she has found her food plot and is settling in nicely.Deer will ,if they find it,move right into a food plot and not leave in weather/snow cover like you have.Less energy wasted moving back and forth.Unless predators move in,I say she has found a home till the snow leaves....at least you get some nice photo ops :D

Nice! I'm thinking a dark grainy B&W of this would be interesting also!
