Day 25 - Jan 25 2014.....

I went to the range today and knew there was a small falls nearby. On the way home I stopped nearby and walked back to try and grab a couple shots...

All with the D7100 and 18-105

Day 26 - Jan 26 2014.....

I went back to the range... and had spotted a photo op yesteday so stopped on my way there today to grab a couple shots..
I kind of made a mess... here is the cause of that....

I have seen this seen many mornings out my back door... sunrise shining into the trees... I was never able to get a decent shot...
They just seemed flat... and the color did not match what I saw.. I decided to try and see if I could improve it with an HDR

It is a tad overdone... but I think I could spend some time working on it to get something much better than the original..
It was a test, and I think I learned something so that is a good thing...

Then I headed down the road... arrived at McQuesten Farm... Took some pictures of farm implements
and some of the goats, then headed on to the range... Guess what??? I bracketed this morning and never reset so
when I got home, I had decent exposures, over exp and under exp!!! Fortunately I was able to salvage some..
Learn from my mistakes !! :)

Great shots Pat, love the detail in the got shot and the farming implements.

Thanks Kevin... there were a couple more opportunities with the goats but I had issues with fencing, snow banks and of course being "out of position" when they did something neat!
