Post your Moon Shots

Taught him everything he knows ;)
Funnily enough, your laid back artistry and skill does make me try harder. I also find I've started hunting for photos to fit the various stickies on here, which is equally satisfying and stretching. By that I mean that whilst looking around I'll think "that'll make a great cloudscape" or "that'll look good as a sunset". I enjoy, and appreciate, those almost passive challenges this forum tosses out at me.

Ah yes now I see your teleconverter listed. Whatever is on that moon at the bottom is fascinating. It almost looks like a navel orange!

The conjunction of the three major craters, Tycho, Longomontanus, and Maginus (the largest of the three at 120 miles across)

Someone's left the lights on.

Great shot, by the way.

Yeah -- had to check that there wasn't something odd with the camera, but it's there alright -- must be a moon madness party.

And thank -- hoping for better tonight, as it has been very dry and breezy today.

Still about 10% haze, but this is better, I think, than last night. I will try again later

Hazy conditions tonight, took down the sharpness. However, a student at school needed a photograph of the moon from tonight so here it is.
